Eating shrimp again today,
per advice of energetic healer Deena Spear that I have shrimp for at least three weeks. It is interesting to me that she also said I needed the krill oil, because krill is basically like a microscopic shrimp. (Used Vegenaise mixed with fresh garlic and fresh lime juice as a dip for the shrimp.) Oats with Xylitol, millet, pinto beans and steamed cauliflower and onions. Tea with alfalfa, nettle leaf, ginger, organic kelp (actually most of these things are organic), plus some raw cacao powder. Then juiced some wheatgrass and added that to the blend rather than the cacao. Also had a grapefruit, water, and the usual supplements (Dr. Ohhira's probiotics, MyCommunity medicinal mushrooms from www.fungi.com, chlorella, Illumodine iodine – and still waiting for my shipment of krill oil). Really looking forward to next time I get paid and getting back into some serious salad-eating. I really like a lot of the rest, but it is the salad I love the best! As I write this I have not eaten everything above yet, but that's the plan!
By the way, for people who are interested in learning about the history of the banking system in the U.S., I found this radio program that aired last night to be very articulate:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2btt3NzLdas&;feature=uploademail
and about how it's really all about control. And as he points out, the Democrats and Republicans are basically the same. He says they – those who would love to rule the whole world (which is basically a couple dozen families) – like Socialism the most, because that makes it the easiest to control people. The author on this show, John Scura, worked for ten years as a Research Librarian for the Department of Defense, recently wrote a book entitled Battle Hymn available on Amazon here:
http://www.amazon.com/Battle-Hymn-Revelations-Sinister-World/dp/161296043X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&;qid=1331494572&sr=8-1
Okay, okay. I know a lot of you out there are saying, "Don't scare me. I don't want to be afraid. Let's just all think positive and then everything will be A-okay." I don't want to scare anyone. Yes, this information is a hard pill to swallow, and yes, one can feel some fear while it goes down the throat, but my honest belief and intention is simply that people become educated and aware of what is really going on, so that when it comes time to stand up for something we don't all fall for everything. The sad fact is that we have been programmed and marketed up the kazoo our entire lives – and the only antidote to that I know of is to become aware of that fact, and look "behind the curtain" at the "Wizard of Oz." And then too we should be able to see that wizard is not such a scary guy after all – and only has the power we GIVE him (or them, as the case may be). "Forewarned is forearmed" is how I see it.
And yes, keep up the positive thoughts – most definitely!! It feels to me, in my own life, that I do best when I just hang on to those positive thoughts and actions even whilst amidst times that may feel dire or dragging me down. In fact, that's my secret of how I can get myself to get up super early in the morning to walk and go swimming in the springs each morning, which I plan to start up again as soon as the bacteria count does down at Barton Springs: I just imagine myself plowing through the bog – or, as they say in Austin, "Onward through the Fog!"
Have the best day EVER..!!

Not much of difference in menu today. Organic soaked raw steel cut oats with raisins, goji berries and sprouted sunflower seeds; millet and pinto beans from yesterday; ruby red grapefruit; the herbal tea same as yesterday, same supplements.
Was astonished to read about the rough handling James Stewart got at the hands of Ventura County authorities. You can read more about what happened this past week here:
http://www.naturalnews.com/035197_James_Stewart_Sharon_Palmer_Ventura_County.html
UPDATE: Interview with James Stewart about the unconscionable behavior of LA "justice" system:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&;v=mkDrrKhPB7M
This astonishing interview between James Stewart and Mike Adams (the Health Ranger) from NaturalNews.com reveals the shocking TORTURE of a 65-year-old "milk man" in California. Details from the interview include the following (from beneath this "video" on YouTube):
* How James was subjected to severe food deprivation.
* How he was interrogated by deputies and accused of being a "sovereign," then branded with a red arm band (Nazi-style) to falsely indicate that he was a danger to the general population.
* How James was shackled in long chains wrapped around his waist multiple times, then had his hands cuffed behind his back which was bound to the heavy waist chain to restrict his movement. His handcuffs were so tight he thought his wrists would break.
* James was then handcuffed to a cold bench, restricting his movement to just six inches, then left on the bench for 4-5 hours.
* James was then forcibly subjected to various medical tests, including forced chest X-rays even while he was handcuffed.
* He was placed in a cold cell wearing only a T-shirt and pants, where he soon began to suffer from hypothermia and found himself violently shivering just to stay alive.
* How he was made to suffer through total sleep deprivation all night long as other prisoners were screaming and banging on the walls.
* His cell was then flooded with raw human sewage, which flowed into his jail cell 2-3 inches deep, covering his shoes and shirt. LA County jail guards then ordered James to clean up all the raw sewage in his cell by handing him a small hand-held squeegee and demanding that he squeegee out all the raw sewage himself (which he reluctantly did).
* He was then forced to stay in the putrid raw sewage cell for over 30 hours, fighting off nausea and living in bacteriological filth that threatened his health.
* All along, the LA County prison guards gloated over their treatment of prisoners while laughing and joking about their power to subject prisoners to such abuse. This behavior openly mimics that of Gitmo guards who took pictures gloating over their torture and murder of prisoners of war.
* During this entire process, James was not allowed a single phone call nor any visit from an attorney. His right to speak to an attorney was repeatedly denied.
* At no point was James notified of what he was being charged with. He was never presented with an arrest warrant nor were any charges explained to him.
* James was mysteriously "lost" in the system and LA County officials claimed they did not know where he was. This was apparently a deliberate attempt to subject an individual to drawn-out torture without legal representation and make sure no one could locate them to check on their health or arrest status.
Have the best day EVER..!!

I want to stress that I am not posting this as an "ideal diet" for anyone. This is sort of my "make do" diet during a low ebb. Ideally I will eat more raw veggies and fruits – and my krill oil has not come in yet!
Water (3-4 quarts over the day)
3 Grapefruit (small)
Millet with onions, habaneros, tumeric, olive oil, Celtic sea salt and black pepper, pinto beans soaked for 12 hours and slow-cooked with onions sauteed in coconut oil, cayenne, granulated organic kelp, a little black pepper, Celtic sea salt and turmeric blended in the food processor to come out looking like refried beans.
Mixed the millet above with the pinto beans above with diced tomato and fresh cilantro from Dean's garden to make a "bowl of burrito" (smile).
Had more of the tea made from kelp, alfalfa, nettle and ginger I wrote about yesterday.
Supplements:
2 capsules MyCommunity medicinal/tonic mushrooms (for building immunity) -- great mushroom blend by Paul Stamets of fungi.com
probiotics (1 capsule 2 times/day) -- currently using Dr. Ohhira's
chlorella tabs – about 12
Illumodine iodine – about 15-20 drops
Deena Spear, the energy healer and luthier who is working with me (www.singingwoods.org), has suggested that I use the Xylitol not more than twice a week, just on my oats, at least for now, and to switch up a bit for breakfast, not having Xylitol on my oats every day. Some days it could be blueberries, and some days it could be a granola with cinnamon.
We also talked about tobacco. She feels it is a no-brainer no good for anyone. I don't know if I agree with that; but she says that particularly for me that is the case. I haven't smoked any tobacco for some months now, but I was planning to get some mapacho in a few more months. I will defer to her guidance on this, since she feels so strongly about it, but I have to say that I feel that tobacco has been unfairly demonized (and much because of the chemical additives and other things the cigarette companies are doing to mess it up). There is not one brand of American tobacco I would buy or trust – not even American Spirit (who by the way were bought out by one of the big cigarette companies some years ago).
Deena also reminded me that it would be best to soak any nuts I eat before eating (unless they have already been soaked and dehydrated).
Oh! And I had the rest of some durian by friend Linda brought over the other day. Yum!
Also had some sprouted and dehydrated pumpkin seeds and sprouted and dehydrated pumpkin seeds.
We're having strange weather today, considering it got up to over 90 degrees F last week. It was about 44 degrees all day, with plenty of rain, a hailstorm or two and evening lightning here in Austin, Texas!
Have the best day EVER!!

A funny thing happened on the way to my starting this blog about what I am eating. I had just read the book Ears of the Angels by Deena Zalkind Spear, a luthier (violin maker) who over the years came to learn how to use energy healing when repairing and retuning violins, violas and cellos. It's a fascinating book, and by the end of the story she found that she could also "tune" animals and people who were ill. (Note: While Deena has a spectacular recovery rate from animals and humans, it only works when the person or animal is not blocking the healing for some reason.)
Anyhow, I decided to give her a try, especially due to psoriasis I had almost totally gotten rid of in 2009 that came back in 2011. The thing is, I had been doing so many things in 2009 that may have gotten rid of the psoriasis, following the advice of inspirational health leader David Avocado Wolfe, and I've been pretty clueless as to the reason for its return. I now believe it is at least in part due to emotional issues.
Anyhow, I recently hired Deena to do a healing for me, and one of the things she does is recommend certain foods during healings. I had given up eating seafood for a while, and even stopped taking krill oil some months ago when I found a good vegan omega-3 product put out by David Wolfe Foods. Deena explained that his product is great, but that some things simply do not work for certain people and that my body was not being able to utilize the EPA from the vegan omega-3 oils. That's the other thing she is having me get back onto, is the krill oil. The shrimp (or NW Pacific salmon or trout) are foods that she recommended I eat regularly for the next three weeks.
Soooo...! I thought I was going to be starting a mostly raw vegan blog, but now I'll have to call it a somewhat raw pescatarian blog. (Pescatarians are those who abstain from eating all meat except for seafood or fish.) My "other son" is a pescatarian and I used to tease him, "Are pescatarians pesky people?" Now I guess I'm a pesky person too!
Deena also recommended for me to eat steamed vegetables. That is no problem; I already preferred steamed broccoli, green beans and cauliflower to raw. I'm eating cooked legumes and millet currently too, but that is more of an economic issue. Beyond all that, and the seafood, most of anything else I eat now is raw and vegan. Deena also recommended that I abstain from wheat and gluten. Luckily, even those who abstain from wheat and gluten can still consume wheatgrass or rejuvelac made with wheatberries.
Oh! By the way, I expressed to Deena my concern about eating animals or fish; that I just don't want to hurt the animals (or fish). She explained that certain species have agreed before incarnating to be as food to humans. Who am I to say that this is not true? I have heard it before. Nevertheless, even if it is true that cows and chickens and other animals have agreed to this, that would never make it acceptable the way most animals grown for food are currently treated. Cows are given foods unnatural to their normal diet and no grass to eat (which is) and they are injected with steroids to multiply amounts of milk production. And I really don't like the idea of the machines that milk those cows, either. If we are going to milk the animals with machinery, the least we could do is make it FEEL like human hands might feel. The factory farms for chickens and for pigs may even be worse than those for cows. The State of Iowa recently made it illegal to videotape anything done on any of their animal farms where animals are bred, fed and grown for food. Please, if you do eat meat, BOYCOTT MEAT FROM IOWA...!
I intend to use this blog to log what I am eating on a daily basis, and see where that takes us.
It's late in the day now so I'll just give a quick list of what I have eaten and swallowed today:
3-4 qts. water (through a Berkey filter with a PF-2 attachment that takes out fluoride as well) – not the best water ever, but this will have to do until I can get spring water again!
about 25 drops of iodine (current brand is put out by Dr. Gabriel Cousens and is called Illumodine)
Dr. Ohhira's probiotics – one, 2 times daily
1 cup of raw oat groats, soaked for 8 hours in water and then drained. The only thing I added was a couple teaspoons of Xylitol made from hardwood trees (which is low glycemic and safe even for diabetics). NOTE: Xylitol is dangerous for dogs and cats to consume. If you use Xylitol and have pets, please be very careful that they don't eat anything with Xylitol in it.
Shrimp – steamed and then lightly sauteed in butter and coconut oil with garlic and fresh lime juice
Deglet noor dates (25 of them or so)
a few almonds and a couple walnuts
handful or two of sprouted and dehydrated sunflower seeds
small salad (leftover from yesterday) with lettuce from a friend's garden (thanks, Beth!), cilantro from another friend's garden (thanks, Dean!), avocado, tomato, beet, carrot, olive oil, fresh lime juice, a bit of thinly sliced onion, Celtic sea salt and black pepper.
about a cup of steamed millet with onions and habanero pepper, coconut oil, olive oil, Celtic sea salt, black pepper and turmeric.
2 oranges – one regular and one mandarin
And a sort of "tea" I made of ingredients Deena wants me to take that are in "Sun is Shining." I would have taken the "Sun is Shining" put out by Sunfood, if it were not for the fact that David Avocado Wolfe has explained that he did not sell that business willingly but was forced out, only to find out later that one of the new owners has a very, very strong connection with Monsanto. I refuse to give that company any of my money, and I hope you won't either. Due to my currently super-tight budget on my way to great prosperity, I was not able to put together all the ingredients of "Sun is Shining," but Deena chose for me these (most of which I already had in my cupboard): alfalfa "with a bit of nettle and ginger," some wheatgrass and organic kelp.
Well, I did not get hold of the wheatgrass yet, but I made a sort of tea of the other ingredients and drank that. (Not what I would call tasty, but not nasty either.) I hope to get hold of a tray of wheatgrass tomorrow or very soon, which I will juice myself. Again – this is from a "tuning" Deena is doing with me, and may not be the best thing for you. I'm just sharing the food part of what we are doing here!
Well, that's about it. We'll see how it goes! The krill I ordered is "in the mail" and I'll be starting on that next week as well.
Have the best day EVER...!!!
